NYC Department of Buildings: More online goodness

It’s amazing how much is behind NYC.gov, was able (through google) to find the NYC DoB Building Information System that (just recently?) added a Skilled Trades Licensees/General Contractors Search 

Update: Was just reading I Bought a Duplex and noticed the link to Angies List on the sidebar. Angies List is “a consumer-driven organization that collects and distributes detailed customer satisfaction reports on local businesses in more than 150 categories.” Essentially customer reviews of contractors, service companies etc.. AND they just opened up their New York metro chapter, as such, membership is free (as if I’d pass that up).

    Happiness! Now maybe we can get that very much needed electrician in to do the gobs of work we’ve been waiting on!

    Just imagine how nice it will be to use our fancy pants microwave *and* have counterspace at the same time!!
