Dead Deal
New violation in addition to the three that I knew about popped up on the DoB today that helped break the camel’s back. If this deal is going to happen, it’s going to be with a traditional closing and terms or in a foreclosure sale. Would’ve been nice to know that the deal was not going to happen before I took the day off from work (unpaid), but my attorney wanted to let me know in person — either that or he just enjoys engaging in shouting matches with his clients.
Had a real estate salesguy show me a place that was billed as a two family, but a minute before we got inside, he said it’s actually zoned as a two family but it’s really a mother daughter (where no internal blocks separate the house into two separate and distinct units). Waste of time, somewhat — did it distract me long enough to settle down & regroup.
