Submitted by on December 1, 2006 – 10:37 amNo Comment

HPD press release:

The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) is now accepting online credit card payments for HPD’s housing education classes. HPD offers over one hundred different classes covering topics such as building finance, energy conservation, lead paint awareness and fair housing laws. Approximately 85% of the classes offered are free of charge but some include a materials fee. Through HPD’s website at www.nyc.gov/hpd New Yorkers are able to register for classes on the days and times that suit them, check schedules, e-mail HPD with questions and offer suggestions on the classes. Now they can also easily pay for classes that require a fee.
